Grade II* Listed Building Extension Hampshire

Fowlers were tasked with securing planning to remodel and extend this Grade II* listed house in Hampshire. We worked closely with an independent heritage consultant who described the house as a “fine example of an early 17th Century gentry house” and as such it required a sensitive and delicate approach.

The extension was carefully designed to blend in seamlessly with the existing house – maintaining the ridge height of the existing single storey element and ensuring that the addition was clearly subservient to the main part of the house.

The design was approved and the extension added, ensuring this beautiful house maintained its exquisite heritage elements, whilst being updated and modernised so as to function as a 21st Century home.
