Two-storey Extension Hampshire

This two-storey extension project was completed in 2019 after we helped our clients get planning permission in 2017.

The house is Grade II Listed with some original sections dating from the 16th century. It sits in the beautiful open Hampshire countryside, on the edge of the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Unusually, we were able to achieve permission for a two-storey extension at the front elevation of the house. This is often the most highly protected aspect of a listed building, but in this case we were replacing and improving on a lean-to extension. The new section follows the original roof line and wraps around to the rear of the house.

Inside, our clients have a new open plan kitchen and dining space downstairs, and two new bedrooms upstairs.
