This new build contemporary Georgian style house in Hampshire was granted Planning Permission in 2009.
From our clients: “A clear strategy”
“Throughout the process we were provided with a clear strategy as to how we would achieve planning permission for our new house, which replaced a much smaller bungalow. Michael and the practice designed a house to our specification and taste. Once this was achieved, they determined how best to gain approval for it by splitting the house into a number of applications in order to achieve the maximum square footage. Finally, we have found the experience enjoyable and appreciate Michael and his team’s sense of humour.”
Contemporary Georgian Style House
The old bungalow was demolished in order to build a new, 4 bedroom family home, as well as a new cart shed.
The design was well thought out because of the site being in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The character and appearance needed to be sensitive to the rural area.
This house combines traditional and modern features, which gives the building a particular architectural interest. The building materials are also in keeping with the local area, using traditional render, and slate for the roof.
