Introducing a striking new contemporary garden room extension in north Wiltshire.
Before and After: Contemporary Garden Room Extension
Historically, this was a dairy farm, which also had equestrian facilities added later. The original house had a number of extensions and buildings attached to it. Most of them had become dilapidated, and so our clients asked us to get planning permission to remove these and replace some of them with new extensions.
We designed an extension at one end of the house, which included a cartshed and a new master suite above. At the other end of the house, we added this contemporary garden room extension. We also opened up some internal rooms to improve the flow of the house, and create some lovely family spaces.
Our clients were granted planning permission in 2015, and then instructed us to take the project to the tender stage.
