Our latest news from the Planning team on our recent planning permission successes.
5 New Houses following Class Q Approval
Fowlers have secured full planning permission for 5 new homes on the outskirts of Ludgershall.
The new houses will be in a converted poultry shed which is just outside the settlement boundary. We previously achieved prior approval under Class Q to change the use from agricultural to residential.
The Local Authority took the Class Q approval as a fall-back position, and so could justify approving the new scheme for 5 homes.
Permission in Principle for 4 New Houses
Another new development of 4 homes recently achieved Permission in Principle in Hampshire.
The site is in a particularly challenging location, in open countryside and a Conservation Area. However, the Council could not demonstrate a 5 year supply of housing land. They supported the scheme, which was great news for our clients.
The next step is to apply for Technical Details Consent, which will site alongside the Permission in Principle.

New Home Office Planning Permission
Back in August we secured planning permission to create a home office in rural Hampshire. The new office and games room will be in an outbuilding next to the main house, which is Grade II Listed.
The designs include lifting the roof and installing modern glazing to create a building that will compliment the historic surroundings.
