We’re proud to be able to support our local community, and recently helped the art department at Pewsey Vale School with a new digital camera.
in the article by the Wiltshire Gazette and Herald, Head of Art Nina Slater said: “The camera will be used as soon as the students can get their hands on it, it is an essential edition to our art department.
“There are some students who have strong maths, science and art skills and I could see them going on to become architects.
“We have a dark room which I would like to get running. We need the chemicals now and that is our next project.
“I would also like to do evening art workshops, parents have already asked when they can get involved and it’s something I want to do to incorporate the community.”
Mike also added: “As a Pewsey based business, we feel it is important to forge close links with our local school and inspire future generations to become more artistic.
“When we became aware that the school art department needed a camera but didn’t have the funding, we decided to step in and donate one.
“Maybe the camera will be the catalyst to create a new cohort of architects and designers.”
We hope Nina and the students enjoy their new camera, and wish the art department all the best with re-opening the dark-room!
