New Garden Village for Ludgershall

We have submitted a proposal for a new garden village at Ludgershall for around 1,700 new homes to Wiltshire Council.

South Park Garden Village has been presented as the best way of achieving sustainable growth in the Wiltshire Local Plan Review and Swindon & Wiltshire Joint Spatial Framework consultation to meet the development needs to 2036.

The new garden village provides a unique opportunity to meet the long term development needs in a strategically sustainable location through a high quality, sensitive development involving local communities and delivering major infrastructure improvements. This infrastructure includes the completion of the missing A342 Southern Connector Road and the scheme’s ability to help facilitate the reopening of passenger rail services.

Residents and interested parties will have a chance to have their say on the proposed South Park Garden Village as the project team commences public consultation in 2018 and as Wiltshire Council prepares to draw up their new planning framework.
