Listed Building Annex Approval

We recently secured planning permission for an annex to a Listed Building in a Registered Park and Garden. Designed as a Victorian style coach-house, the building provides over 2,150 ft² of floor space including garage space and living space.Landscape, heritage and ecological impacts were important considerations, so the application was supported by a Landscape and Visual Assessment, as well as mitigation measures. Following negative comments from the case officer and the conservation officer, we withdrew the first application to make minor changes. As well as this, we gained more local support, and the approved scheme delivered 95% of the desired outcome.
